Ahhh, my ruby slippers.
I love these shoes. I fell in love with them when I opened the box. I have the relish patent leather (dark red). They are comfortable and fit to size. The toe is slightly rounded, slender and not too wide. I was surprised to read (in the description) that the heel is 4 inches high. I would have never guessed that the heel is this high. The heel doesn’t feel 4 inches high. The shoe is comfortable and very easy to balance and walk in. I also like the strap across the top of the foot. It gives it a maryjane look.

These Ann Klein Willa patent shoes are really pretty and a nice change from the ordinary “pump” style. I wear a 6 1/2, and they are true to size and very comfortable. I bought the bronze color and am thinking of buying another fall color.

Got this shoe in brown suede-great fit! They look great with skirts. They’re a nice change from a typical pump. The brown is more of a chocolate color; the strap is not at all restrictive. Love these shoes!

I really loved the shoes when I saw the picture on Zappos, and once I received them, they were just as cute as they were on the website! I really love these shoes except for the fact that they can be pretty killer on your feet. Make sure to break them in with thick socks!

There is nothing I have worn them with that I haven’t received compliments on.
I have worn them with jeans, dresses, suits…I receive so many compliments.

Gorgeous, Yet Comfortable Shoes!
Wore the red ones out of the box to a wedding 3 weeks ago – closed the wedding & 2 bars & when I took my shoes off at 4:00 a.m. – after 9 hours my feet still felt great! AND 2 men complimented me on my shoes – I never get compliments on my shoes from men! My husband also loves them! 🙂
Shoes were perfect width & a tiny bit larger than true size on length – but, I would still order true size. I bought both the relish (red) & black patent. Both are even more beautiful than the pics portray!

Bought the red patent version of this shoe and have never heard so many compliments! Dead sexy with either jeans or a dress, and they look just as good in person as they do on Zappos.
Not the most comfortable shoe but certainly not the worst. Strap isn’t too tight and adds some Mary Jane sweetness to an otherwise elegantly seductive shoe. As with other Anne Klein shoes I’ve had, I expect it to soften a little and get more comfortable with wear.
LOVE IT and am coming back to buy the black patent.

Heel seems higher than stated –
The heel height seems closer to 3 1/2″. Too high for me, which is too bad, because overall this is a really nice shoe. I’m actually surprised how comfortable these shoes are considering the heel height. I usually wear a size 7, and the size 7 in this shoe fit fine.

Classic, but stylish shoes –
Loved the look of these. Looked in many stores for this “type” of shoe, but found these to be the most flattering – where the strap is placed, heel height, and look and comfort. Ordered brown color, but now planning to order in black, too. Also, this site always has the best customer service – prompt delivery, clear site, great email follow-up, and easy returns.

I know that patent leather can be stiff and unforgiving, so I ordered this in suede, thinking it would be softer. No. The heel is very high, and the toe area is very cramped. Not comfortable at all. It felt 1/2 size shorter than marked.

Fabulous shoe!
This is a gorgeous, gorgeous shoe! Bought the bronze color, which is a really stunning shade of golden brown. I usually wear an 8, but found that I need to go down half a size to a 7.5. I am also going back to order the black!

I had to submit another review, as an update to my last one a few days ago. I thought that by exchanging for a 7.5 (from 8), it would be perfect. Nope!! It was so tight that I could barely get my foot in. So the 8 was slipping off my heel and the 7.5 way too tight. 🙁
Too bad because the shoe looks really great. I’ve heard that AK Anne Klein sizing can be a bit funky, so maybe that’s why I ran into issues.

These are GREAT maryjanes, professional, yet still sexy. I don’t really like very high heels because I can’t walk in them, but these are perfect. High enough to look hot, but not so high I can’t walk in them. I can wear them all day and they won’t kill my feet.

These shoes are BEAUTIFUL. I wore them the first time to church and EVERYONE noticed them right away. I purchased the brown patent leather ones. TO DIE FOR. I heard they are hard to find. They are so comfortable and easy to walk in. I didn’t want to take them off all day. The Mary Jane style is in this year. GOT TO HAVE THESE SHOES!

AK’s Willa is so flattering.. the strap is at just the right place, a bit lower than a typical Mary Jane, so it looks very feminine without appearing too “girlie”. It’s also more comfortable at this lower level, so that it doesn’t become bothersome in any way as can occur with some higher straps. I find AK shoes in general to be very comfortable for my medium width foot and certainly recommend this beautiful shoe in any color…I’ve already purchased two pair of these myself!

The shoe was a little higher than anticipated; I think more like 4 inches, which is fine, however, the instep was narrow, whereas the heel was sufficient enough. Felt awkward due to the height of shoe — I believe a size bigger, whether in length or width, would have been too big in the heel area. Otherwise, beautiful shoe! Got in relish. Lovely.

Absolutely love, love, LOVE this shoe! The heel height is perfect…decently high yet not unstable or outrageously hard to handle. It’s cushioned unlike any pair of heels I’ve ever had. I usually stick to Nine West heels, but these Anne Klein’s are quickly surpassing my Nine Wests. I have this shoe in two colors and am quickly falling head over heels for both pairs.

I love the look of this shoe and after reading the reviews I ordered a half size larger than I wear, but it was still very uncomfortable in the front. It seems that the footbed is not proportioned correctly because another half size up would be too big.

This is a great, great shoe. I bought the navy and am considering buying the black as well. As a self-described clothes hound I tend to stick with designer brands but gave these a try because I love patent leather. The Heel: It’s just the right height. Tall enough to have a good feminine stride, but not so tall you hurt. Comfort: I work in a building with all marble floors. I can last all day in these shoes. If I say they’re pretty comfortable (for a heel of course), that’s saying something! The Look: I get compliments on them ALL the time. A Note on Sizing: Go a 1/2 size larger. It’s a GREAT shoe. I highly recommend it.

The shoes are okay – not great, I am not in love with them. the elastic ankle strap is way too tight and started feeling uncomfortable as soon as I tried the shoe on. It is also difficult to get on because of the tight strap.
